Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has a new message for the developing world's metropolises: make your roads safer.
Mr. Bloomberg is expected to announce Monday that his philanthropic organization will spend $125 million during the next five years on programs to reduce traffic deaths and injuries in 10 cities in lowand middle-income countries.

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -Shreveport police have released the name of the 2-year-old child who was fatally injured after his mother accidentally ran him over on Thursday afternoon. And as the family grieves so too are first responders who must confront such trauma day in and day out.

Judy Danziger was in the roadway on Becketts Court in Chestnut Ridge at 1:30 in the afternoon when she was hit by a 2002 Toyota Sienna that was backing out onto the street.
