Denine O' Connor, the mother of American Idol 3rd place winner Madison VanDenburg has a fear of flying. But for family, we do whatever it takes. When her daughter got into the top 6 on American Idol, Denine made the cross-country trip from New York to Los Angeles in her Forester, with a little help from Rear View Safety.
On the back of her trailer, Denine has a sign reading "American Idol Bound: Madison VanDenburg" and a RVS-921 Clearance Light Backup Camera.

Happy New Year! It's finally cold in New York. The kind of cold where you carefully layer clothing and speed walk to the bus to avoid the brisk morning wind. It makes me want to go RVing more than ever.
Though I spent a lot of time camping and in the outdoors growing up, I've never been RVing. Learning about RV culture has been like learning a new language, exciting and challenging. Many of our systems are made for RVs, but the culture is a whole new world. It's very exciting discovering terms like toads, dry weight, and full-timing.
